"I AM STRONG" - Print
I created this piece thinking of the power of nature and the metamorphosis that comes with motherhood. It is full of symbolisms! As a new mother, I have changed and learned so much and feel the primal urge to protect my baby. It is really incredible how wise nature is! We morph into that which our children need. Life is not our own anymore, it is entirely devoted to that new being you made. To cope with all the stress that this new life surprises me with sometimes, I have turned to yoga, so the woman’s pose in the image is that of the “mountain” pose. A pose of stability, strength, welcoming, protective. All we need to be to learn and navigate this roller coaster. The phrase on top is also a reminder that we are capable, we CAN and we WILL. Humans are capable of amazing things and we are all a product of Mother Nature: that eternal force that rules all on earth.
